Michigan Outdoor Creations is owner-operated by Travis Rife out of Walled Lake. We grew up out of drainage work — that's why our patios still sit flat in February.
We started underground.
Travis Rife founded Michigan Drainage Solutions in 2014 — French drains, regrades, the unglamorous stuff that decides whether a backyard works in spring.
Customers kept asking the same thing: "While you're here, can you build the patio on top of it?" Michigan Outdoor Creations is the answer to that question — a hardscape crew built on a drainage foundation.
Today we run a single owner-operated crew across Oakland County, with a sister-brand BBB A+ rating and a ten-year workmanship warranty on everything we touch.
